- Frequently the manuscripts are accompanied by a
soft copy supplied on disk. Data comes in various
formats and needs to be converted to a standard word
processing format before it is edited or taken into
the page make-up software.
We have various utilities that convert data from one
word processor to another as well as convert
Macintosh formats to PC formats. Our standard word
processor is Word Perfect that has a very strong
macro system.
SGML Solution
- We provide excellent production services in SGML.
We have significant experience in composing pages
using SGML. We can work with either the clients' DTD,
with a public DTD or with a customized DTD.

Development
- We
have extensive experience with content architecture:
creating, modifying and performing mass conversions
against a variety of DTDs (Document Type
Definitions) and schema definitions. We have
experience with a variety of industry standard DTD's,
including ISO-12083 (Book, Serial and Article), HTML
and XML.
We design DTD and schema frameworks to be as simple,
robust and reusable as possible, knowing that
todays requirements may change or expand in the
future. Unlike other DTD development consultants, as
we are also a content conversion company, we can
verify the DTDs structure and ensure its validity,
by converting, parsing and validating sample data,
then running it against the DTD in a live production
environment to check the desired functionality and
to ensure that it is a working document.
